David
and Alex are long time friends who picked this date
for their first performance together along with
newcomer Adam. Alex, from Calgary, AB, drove 2 days to
Portland, jammed with David the next day, then relaxed
as David drove him to Seattle. As darkness arrived on
a warm Saturday night in the University District, we
walked down a back alley, stopping at a doorway where
David conversed by intercom, then down a long stairway
and into the underground world of Jack Straw Studios.
What happened next was recorded live to CD by Doug
Haire.
